Everyone needs a code, a creed to live by, and ours here at the Code of The West Realty is ....
Centered on hospitality, fair play, loyalty and respect of the land, where a handshake still means something. It's Simply; Something to Live By.
Helping to put together the name and the philosophy of the Code of The West Realty is a reflection of, not only what I try to stand for, but the beliefs and structures by which I was raised. The Cowboy's way of life, including their Creed, was something that my Father and Mother stood for, lived by and taught us, their kids.
One of my favorite quotes is, "The journey begins, when 2 or more people are gathered". Well, my journey began in Phoenix, Arizona, born and raised, the youngest of 5, to the most amazing parents. Throughout my childhood, Dad was always building something, and I, right there beside him. I learned a lot during those special times with Dad. I come from a family of contractors, builders and interior decorators and even my husband, owns his own flooring installation company. Therefore, real estate seemed like a natural fit for me.
I worked for several years as a Property Manager for a large Property Management Company in the Metro Phoenix area. Then later, I got into the escrow industry in the Prescott Quad area, working my way from being an Escrow Officer, to a Branch Manager for 15-years. From there, moving onto owning my own Transaction Coordinating Company and now, landing as a real estate agent.
After I moved to Prescott in 1985, I met and married, the man of my dreams, my husband Jeff, in 1990. Our children consists of the 4 legged kind, we currently have 3 beautiful, girl cats, Grace, Cassie and Andie. They are our heart and soul!
Growing up in the Southwest, has provided and continues to provide a lot of opportunity to experience the glorious outdoors, something that my family has always done together. From enjoying some of our beautiful bodies of water, such as; Lake Powell, Bartlett, Fossil Creek and Lake Mohave to escaping to our tranquil mountains; such as the White Mountains for a retreat from the heat or simply to have some quiet time listening to the cool breezes whistle through the pines or exploring our very own, 1 of the seven wonders of the world, the mighty Grand Canyon. Arizona provides such beautiful sunsets, four seasons, dry climate, rays of endless sunshine and tons of rich and vast history for all to explore and enjoy.
Passion, Perseverance, Commitment and going the extra mile is what I'll bring to the table each and everytime for you, my clients. Giving 110% is not just a cliche' for me, but a way of life, a way of doing business.
I was always told that in order to be an excellent real estate agent, you had to be a good sales person. Well, what I have discovered is that selling real estate is secondary, to servicing your clients like you would like to be serviced, which takes top priority.
